Welcome to our camp blog!!!

Hello campers and parents, and welcome to the 2023 Wildcat Science Camp blog! This blog post is going to give you an insight into what the counselors have been doing in the time leading up to the camp sessions. Our first week of orientation was focused on preparation: getting an overview of the camp, testing rockets for the second session, meeting with the Science Club staff to discuss working with middle schoolers, and of course lots of team building.

Unfortunately, the wildfire smoke prevented us from doing work outside, but we accomplished as much as we could inside. Our second week of orientation will be focused on preparation for the pollination session. We’re excited to meet the campers and we are doing everything we can to prepare and ensure that they have a great time while at camp!
