Wildcat Science Camp is a summer camp on Northwestern’s Evanston campus for middle grade (6-8) students. The aim of the camp is to provide students with authentic, active experiences in science and/or engineering within a supportive environment that emphasizes inquiry, curiosity and fun! Campers will gain knowledge and experience in biology and ecology or aeronautical engineering. They will utilize the Northwestern Biology teaching labs and conduct field work across the campus.

Camp Details

  • Open to students enrolling in 6th, 7th or 8th grade in the fall of 2023

  • Sessions:

    • Session 1: Insect and Pollinator Behavior July 10-14

    • Session 2: Engineering Rockets July 24-28

  • Dropoff 9:15-9:30am; Pick-up 4:30-4:45pm

  • Location: Northwestern Technological Institute, 2145 Sheridan Rd.
