Reset Week!

Welcome back to our camp blog! We know it’s been a while since our last post, but we have been very busy. Last Friday was the last day of session 1, during which time the campers finished their experiments, created their results posters, and presented their results at the showcase during pick-up. We want to thank all of the parents for coming a bit early on Friday for the showcase, and we hope you enjoyed learning about what your campers discovered during their week at camp!

This week is the reset week for us counselors, which means that we will essentially be “switching over” the lab from session 1 (pollinators) to session 2 (rockets). So far we’ve cleaned up all the lab materials from session 1, purchased and laid out all of the materials for session 2, tested the various experimental protocols that we will be using, and ordered any other extra stuff that we may need to make session 2 just as fun as session 1. Tomorrow we will be completing our final preparations, and we are so excited to welcome a brand new group of campers. We can’t wait to see everyone on Monday!
